My name is Timothy May and I want to share with you a personal journey of mine called Saint Study. I became interested in this project as I began to discover the value of studying the Saints and their incredible journey's. I have found there are basically two kinds of epiphanies when it comes to finding ones way to God. One hits you suddenly like a light switch turning on and the other is where you put it together over a period of time. The latter was my experience. I have had many conversations with wonderful Protestant followers of Christ over the years. Their questions about the Saints, or any Catholic topics, that their faiths found objectionable was motivating to me as I found myself answering them with "let me get back with you on that." As I researched answers for these men and women I re-discovered my faith. I found myself especially interested in the lives of the Saints. After conversing with my protestant friends, many times they would say, "I didn't know that!" Now you know where the Saint Study slogan came from. I had also discovered (and became slightly addicted to) Podcast's. There are very intelligent conversations taking place and Podcasting is a great way to enlighten oneself on almost any topic. So here I am using this new technology to help others learn as well as myself as I put SaintStudy together. A little about me. I am a parishioner at St. Patrick Catholic Church in Washington, Illinois and have been a Catholic all my life. I am also a 3rd degree member of the Knights of Columbus here in Washington, Illinois taking part in various projects which support vocations and the Catholic Church.
